ThumbPeople Founder Relays Critical Message On I Need You Dad Radio

ThumbPeople’s founder, Mark Arens, conveys a critical message for parents on the I Need You Dad talk radio show live October 10, 2010 from 9:30 – 10:30 p.m. and available via I Need You Dad radio archives

The voice of ThumbPeople, Mark Arens presents, “Parents, Are You Killing Your Child with Words?” This radio segment addresses the ability parents have to wound their children with words and how parents can instead heal and empower children to reach their greatest potential through expressing loving, encouraging and affirming words.

Acclaimed by family wellness experts for their effectiveness in encouraging parents to be intentional about the words they speak to their children, ThumbPeople helps individuals recognize the influence that words have. Through simple strategies, ThumbPeople provides resources for parents to affirm their child, instill a positive self image, build self worth and create a positive, nurturing home environment.

ThumbPeople founder, Mark Arens, says, “ThumbPeople is committed to being the voice for children who are in emotional poverty. Just like tomorrow may be too late to feed a child living with hunger, tomorrow may also be too late to meet the needs of a child living in emotional poverty. Our message has urgency and has the capacity to change the course for children who may be on a path to destructive behaviors.”

I Need You Dad radio is hosted by author and motivational speaker, J. Vincent Washington. I Need You Dad’s mission is to empower dads to become more active in improving themselves first by healing from their own emotional, spiritual, financial, social, physical and relational wounds. Second, become active in improving the lives of the next generation of fathers by mentoring, nurturing, modeling, leading and educating them to become more than they ever thought possible.
