Test your wine-tasting skills with Quiz Master Simon Wrightson – in aid of Amala Children’s Home
For Immediate Release
14th March 2013, Yorkshire Dales – Parents and teachers from the Wensleydale School will be testing their wine-tasting skills against the professional taste-buds of Simon Wrightson of Wrightson & Co. at a charity fundraiser on 14th March 2013.
Berry’s Farm Shop & Café will host the Wine & Cheese Evening in aid of a student trip to the Amala Children’s Home in India.
Wensleydale School supports the Amala Children’s Home in India with a wide range of fundraising activities throughout the year. An annual trip allows students to visit the facility in Tamil Nadu & meet the pupils.
A group of Wensleydale students will put on a display as part of the Wine & Cheese Evening.
The Amala Children’s Home provides accommodation and schooling for boys and girls from some of the most deprived families in a remote rural area of Tamil Nadu (in Southern India), together with other local children who attend Amala School on a daily basis.
The Amala Trust (registered charity number 1063194/0) raises money in the UK and donates 100% of this as the sole source of funding for the project.
To book tickets for the Wine & Cheese Evening, visitors should call Berry’s Farm Shop & Café on 01969 663377 or ask at the Wensleydale School reception.
