TAOISEACH LAUNCHES BLUEFACE MOBILE

Integrates landline and mobile services to deliver innovative

features and significant cost-savings to Irish businesses

Dublin, 22nd February 2012: Blueface Mobile was launched today by The Taoiseach, Enda Kenny TD. Blueface Mobile is Ireland’s first dedicated business mobile service, which delivers both a landline and mobile service on the Blueface cloud platform.  The service enables optimum communications management and affords significant cost savings to Irish businesses for their national and international call needs.

Speaking at the launch of Blueface Mobile, The Taoiseach, Enda Kenny said: “Blueface is part of the emerging generation of Irish entrepreneurs who are embracing modern technology, seeing opportunities and creating ventures that have the capacity to enhance competitiveness, and create jobs. With its innovative products, Blueface can ride the wave of new confidence and investment in Ireland.”

Launching Blueface Mobile, Alan Foy, Chief Executive of Blueface commented that “Blueface mobile represents one of the new innovations in telecommunications.  Today we can offer a business grade mobile service with features and services unparalleled in the Irish market.   Blueface will deliver a truly unified telecoms proposition and will manage business communications across landline and mobile in a fully converged, unified way – one voicemail, one call management portal and one bill are just for starters.”  Foy continued “Blueface has really exciting development plans in the next 12 months and we are committed to rolling out further business grade features, products and services to customers.  Watch this space.”

With Blueface Mobile, customers will get unlimited Ireland and UK landline and mobile calls, free Blueface to Blueface calls and unlimited data and texts for €69 per month (excl. vat).  Current Blueface customers that take up the mobile service will be rewarded for their loyalty with a reduced rate of €59 per month (excl. vat). Blueface’s low cost international rates compare favourably with all other networks and Blueface can also provide international landline numbers delivered directly on Irish users’ handsets (e.g. numbers in New York, London, Hong Kong), making the service a good choice for Irish businesses looking to expand overseas. Blueface will also offer a business grade pay-as-you-go service for those businesses wishing to control their costs proactively.

Blueface has carried out research among its own customer base, which indicates that businesses want to simplify their communications with one telecoms provider, they demand better integration of their communications, call management, billing and services in order to enable their businesses to run more smoothly and efficiently.  Through its new offering, Blueface Mobile aims to achieve this.

The company’s development has recently been supported significantly by Enterprise Ireland through large grant investment, which will underpin the expansion of the business and the creation of 12 new jobs.

Blueface Mobile is the first MVNO in partnership with the Three network.
