SAFETY DRINKING STRAW

March 19, 2009 | Author: | Posted in Advertising, Food & Drink

The Safety Drinking Straw appears as a conventional straw commonly used with cold beverages; however, a closer look reveals that the lower end of the straw is provided with an “X”-shaped guard across the open end, thus effectively bisecting the straw diameter into 4 equally sized openings. As such, large particles or items such as lemon seeds, ice chips, and the like would be unable to enter the straw’s end during the suction act of drinking. This allows the invention to effectively act like a filter, without negatively reducing the flow or “draft” pressure of the straw.
