New research released by DFDS Seaways and conducted by Panelbase.net has revealed that 56% of ferry users from the North East needlessly make a long car journey to a southern UK port to travel on to Europe.*

DFDS Seaways is pleased to announce that from Monday 18 May 2009, pets can now travel with customers on both UK routes from Newcastle to Holland and Harwich to Denmark. DEFRA has approved DFDS Seaways for pet travel under the PETS scheme.
