Study reveals Jesus is the most desired dream dinner party guest

A new poll by the UK’s leading daily city deals website has revealed the top 10 most popular dream dinner party guests. Jesus tops the poll with 74%, followed by Leonardo Da Vinci and Nelson Mandela.

The UK’s leading daily city deals website, http://www.Groupola.com conducted a survey of 1,487 people across the UK to discover which celebrities, dead or alive, they would have at their ‘dream dinner party’.

The poll commissioned by http://www.Groupola.com found that 74% of the respondents would like to have Jesus at their dinner party, while 71% would like Leonardo Da Vinci and 69% say one of their dream guests would be Nelson Mandela.

Surprisingly, 9% stated that they would like Adolf Hitler over for dinner, yet only 6% admitted to wanting glamour model, Katie Price.

According to the results by http://www.Groupola.com, below are the top 10 most popular answers to the multiple-answer question ‘Which of the following iconic people would you like to attend your dream dinner party?’

1.       Jesus – 74%

2.       Leonardo Da Vinci – 71%

3.       Nelson Mandela – 69%

4.       Shakespeare – 67%

5.       Marilyn Manroe – 63%

6.       Gandhi – 62%

7.       Stephen Fry – 58%

8.       Al Capone – 56%

9.       Einstein – 52%

10.   Simon Cowell – 49%

When asked the multiple-choice question by http://www.Groupola.com ‘What personality traits would you like your dream guests to have?’ more than 1 in 5, 22%, agreed they would want their guests to be ‘intelligent’ while a further 29% stated that their guests would have to be a ‘legend’.

Of those that would invite Leonardo Da Vinci to their dinner party, the majority, 54%, stated that they’d like to ask his thoughts about life today. Boxing ‘legend’ Muhammad Ali was beat into eleventh place by X Factor judge Simon Cowell, with 46% of respondents saying Ali would be on their ‘dream dining’ guest list.

Almost a third, 32%, of the 74% that would invite Jesus to their dinner party say they would ask him if he was really the ‘Son of God’.
