Streamlined Simulink® and TargetLink® Model Testing with MTest classic 2.4
MTest classic is a model test management framework, tightly integrated into the MATLAB® development environment. It supports efficient unit testing of Simulink® and TargetLink® models as a crucial part of the model-based development of embedded control software.
Berlin, 08 October 2009 – Model Engineering Solutions GmbH from Berlin has announced the release of MTest classic 2.4 – the newest version of their accomplished model test manager for Simulink® and TargetLink®.
Already proven in practice for almost 10 years, the release of MTest classic 2.4 adds some useful new features to the software and makes it even easier to work with: TargetLink sub-modules can now be automatically used for module testing, a new effective test interface uses defaults and constants to simplify test data definition, and comfortable interface extraction has been introduced for Classification Tree Editor (CTE) integration.
MTest classic is an indispensible component of model-based development. It provides reliable support throughout the entire model testing process: from initial test design to test implementation, execution, evaluation, and final documentation. An intuitive GUI and multiple test data definition methods, plus useful features such as regression and back-to-back testing, give you a complete and easy-to-use solution. Automatic test report generation means no extra hours are spent on report collation and mandatory specifications in safety-critical development are fulfilled. MTest classic thus helps developers comply with industry-wide standards, reducing errors and providing the requisite documentation automatically.
