Storage King cuts the cost of office space

BUSINESSES struggling to beat the credit crunch are being offered a lifeline with a unique cost cutting venture.

Self-storage specialist Storage King, at Dunstable, is giving business leaders the chance to reduce their accommodation costs.

The company is now offering Specialist Business Units that are ideal for companies feeling the ‘pinch’ and struggling to meet expensive business rates.

Stuart Edgar, of Storage King, at Porz Avenue, said: “Our Special Office Units offer a viable alternative for companies and entrepreneurs struggling to meet expensive corporate rates.

“Our units offer all the benefits of other business centres, but can cut the cost by up to half. We also offer great flexibility – with rents for a minimum of just one month, as opposed to up to three years on many business leases.”

Storage King boasts eight Specialist Business Units, ranging from 100 sq ft to 220 sq ft.

The units are also ideally located near the Woodside Estate, and are monitored by 24 hour CCTV.

Sandy Page of catering equipment specialist Catercare has been renting a Storage King business unit since November.

She said: “Using the business unit at Storage King has been great for us. The service is fantastic and is really flexible.

“We have been able to keep all of our services under one roof. As well as our office space, we have also been able use a number of different size storage units to help us cope with larger projects, and even use their smaller units for archiving.”
