Traditionally patriotic Irish punters seem to have abandoned their Grand Slam heroes in favour of Thierry Dusautoir’s French side. In fact one fearless punter is so convinced of a French win on Saturday that he placed a single bet of €16,000 to win €7,000 on Les Bleus.
Ahead of the weekends action Ireland are considered 7/4 outsiders by Paddy Power with France the odds-on 4/9 favourite. France remains the 11/10 favourites to win this years Six Nations Championship with Ireland the 9/4 second favourites.
