Placement marks fourth year on list of fastest-growing private companies

Bellevue, WA – Inc. today ranked Pharmacy OneSource 1,932nd on its annual ranking of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the country. Pharmacy OneSource also placed 38th in the Top 50 Businesses in Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue, WA. The company’s sales growth was 139% over a three-year period. This is the company’s fourth consecutive year on the list.

The Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2006 through 2009. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by June 2006. Additionally, they have to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — as of December 31, 2009. Revenue in 2006 must have been at least $80,000 and revenue in 2009 must have been at least $2 million.

The Inc. 5000 posted aggregate revenue of $321.6 billion in 2009, up more than 50 percent from the previous year. The top five industries by total revenue include Business Products & Services ($84.7 billion), Health ($48.3 billion), Consumer Products & Services ($26.4 billion), Retail ($22.3 billion), and Government Services ($15.1 billion).
