Techs4Biz Corporation, a leading provider of software products for managing field activities, announces the release of the next version of Pervidi – 5.75, including support for Android®-based smart-phones and tablets.
Pervidi version 5.75 includes the ability to wirelessly transfer information to your Android device and conduct your inspections and data collection activities ‘offline’ using your Android smart-phone or tablet. The information is subsequently wirelessly ‘synched’ back to the database using the Android’s wireless connectivity (3G / 4G / Wifi).
“Supporting Android devices is the next step in the evolution of mobile workforce. By enhancing Pervidi’s offering to include the Android platform we are expanding the use of Pervidi to include a significantly large number of mobile users.” says Eitan Shibi, Techs4Biz CTO.
“In addition to providing our customers with the ability to record any field inspection, the Pervidi Android application integrates barcode reading, picture taking, and markups on your pictures. Data can be wirelessly ‘synched’ with the database by using the device’s wireless connectivity or via Wifi when you are back at home or office” says Eitan.
Pervidi 5.75 is offered as an enhancement to the current Pervidi version and will be available to existing customers this month.
