The extremely successful Call for Papers of the OSDC 2012 has now closed and the first topics of the bilingual conference program are determined.
Nuremberg, 1st February2012
From 25th until 26th April 2012 the fourth OSDC will take place in Nuremberg with its focal topic “Agile Infrastructures”. The three thematic blocks “Devops and Methods“, “Databases“ as well as “Scalability and Infrastructure“ will cover the entire scope of application of open source software in data center und huge IT environments.
The internationally-oriented conference is especially for experienced administrators and architects an ideal platform to exchange with OS-experts, like Mark Burgess (CFEngine), Kris Buytaert or Kristian Köhntopp (booking.com). The OSDC offers you the opportunity to gain the latest know-how for the daily practice, thanks to the broad and multifarious lecture program.
Furthermore you will have the possibility to deepen your knowledge on OpenNebula, IPv6 and Puppet Configuration Management. In one of the three in-depth workshops, taking place the day before conference, we especially attach importance to a knowledge-intensive transfer in small groups. Therefore the number of participants is limited to 12 persons.
Two booking packages are available to participate at the OSDC 2012, one for 950, 00 € and the other for 850, 00 €. The early bird rates are still available until 15th February 2012.
The participation in one of the one-day, in-depth workshops is individually bookable as a supplement at an extra cost of 480, 00 €.
Nuremberg based NETWAYS GmbH is hosting the conference. NETWAYS is the leading service provider in open source solutions, hosting and monitoring in Germany.
