About the Bridge Project

Bridge is a Bradford based drug treatment charity that has been established for over 20 years and each year helps hundreds of people with drugs problems.

Once a person is in the Bridge system and has completed a health screen they have access to the gym as part of their rehabilitation programme.

The gym is staffed by a team of three people who are qualified gym instructors and personal trainers. They also believe passionately that regular exercise is a great stimulus to helping people on their path to get off and stay off drugs, hence the motto on the instructors polo shirts, “Exercise – the drug of choice”.
