Summary: Akadema has been providing college baseball and softball programs with the best equipment for any program to succeed. Akadema and the Newberry College baseball team have decided to team up with each other to help elevate their college program to be a power house in the NCAA.

For Immediate Release October 29, 2009 – Newberry College and head coach of the baseball team Bob Rikeman, have realized that there is only one brand of equipment that can give you the greatest edge when on the field: Akadema. Akadema will be providing the DII baseball team with the brand new Catapult Ice bat, Zero Gravity spikes and turf shoes, apparel, fielding gloves and batting gloves.
