Since 1972 Monitor Audio have been searching for new ways to develop class leading loud speakers that reproduce music exactly as it was meant to be heard.  During this time Monitor Audio have gained an appreciation of the extraordinary care involved in crafting the layers of sound that make up a composition.  Monitor Audio are delighted to announce that they can now offer music lovers a chance to explore a fresh new world of sound as they have teamed up with 33 Records and Koolworld Studios.

Koolworld is run by Dave Wooster, the live sound engineer for leading artists such as Leona Lewis and Gary Moore. Dave’s credit list reads like a who’s who of the music world, including artists such as Van Morrison, The Everly Brothers and Jonathan Gee. “The more varied the challenge the better,” he says. “It makes you appreciate the precise demands of individual bands and artists in relation to their own distinctive sound. Speakers play such a vital part in that process.”

Through an exclusive arrangement with Koolworld and 33 Records (one of the UK’s leading independent record labels), Monitor Audio now offer the opportunity to experience dynamic new musical directions as they emerge fresh from the recording studio.

The first exciting new act that Monitor Audio are promoting is Zoe Galant. Zoe is an extremely versatile singer with a huge range and her compelling blend of jazz, country, R&B, Latin and funk places her in the legendary company of Carole King and Joni Mitchell as well as her contemporary Laura Nyro.

Monitor Audio have teamed up with Zoe to launch her first album with 33 Records, Long Time Coming.  33 Records have given Zoe complete artistic licence and the opportunity to work with Dave Wooster to craft the best possible sound. For a first album, Long Time Coming is a seriously polished work and it has been recorded to the highest audio standards. All of the songs on the album are penned by Zoe.  As Paul Jolly, MD of 33 Records says, “with songs of this quality, why would you want to do covers?”

Monitor Audio’s collaboration with Zoe Galant and 33 Records is just the first of many and will help promote a vast array of fresh musical talent.
