Last week two Models Direct models were chosen to take part in a fashion walkthrough by client Cruise Clothing. Models John and Carlos spent an evening walking the runway at one of Aberdeen’s most fashionable stores.
Cruise were holding a fashion event at one of their Scotland stores to showcase some of the clothing designs that they stock. Cruise is a luxury fashion retailer that stocks brands including Prada, Gucci, Miu Miu and Jimmy Choo – to name just a few.
Ally at Cruise came looking for fashion models aged 18 to 26 and around 6ft tall. Ultimately it was models John and Carlos who were selected to take part in the Sex and the City themed catwalk assignment. Models Direct asked them for some feedback on their assignment.
“The experience was great fun,” model John told one Models Direct coordinator. “The assignment consisted of doing a mini catwalk around a clothes store as part of a promotional, red carpet event. It was the first time I had done anything like it. Getting to do something completely different from normal was appreciated.”
Although there was some confusion with the directions that Carlos was given to the store, when he got there he also enjoyed the assignment. “It felt good, I really enjoyed it, some other models I met there were just wanting to go home,” Carlos informed Models Direct.
“But they were really nice,” Carlos continues. “My legs were quite sore after walking around the four connected rooms, not including the changing room, for three hours wearing different clothes for each lap. I hope to do lots more.”
