It’s not every day you get paid to have your hair cut and coloured by top hair-care professionals, but this is just what happened for one Models Direct model. She starred in a step-by-step video for Schwarzkopf, working with award-winning television and video production company Signal.

Stacy from Signal turned to Models Direct on behalf of their client looking for a female model aged between thirty and forty. They required a woman to be filmed having her hair cut and coloured, discussing the process for an online video. After an initial casting it was model Katherine who was selected to take part.

When enquiring, Stacy was originally unsure about using modelling agency Models Direct but she was more than happy with the end results. “I was a little hesitant to use Models Direct having never heard or worked with them before but it’s been a pleasure,” Stacy commented in her feedback to Models Direct. “The model was absolutely fantastic. We were very pleased with her and our client was too!”

This was the first assignment for Katherine and she is obviously a natural in front of the camera. Understandably she said the best part of the assignment was ending up with a fantastic new haircut from a top London stylist and the bit of extra income can’t have been bad either!

Models Direct asked Katherine how she felt after taking part in the assignment. “Thoroughly impressed with the organisation and caring attitude of all the TV crew involved during the assignment, she reported. “It was a really fun day and I loved every minute of it!”

And what would she say to someone thinking of being a model? “It can be very glamorous and the money is well paid, however, there are long hours and early morning starts,” Katherine concluded. “As long as you are confident, organised and have a sense of humour, modelling is definitely a great profession.”
