Georgina must have been delighted when she was selected for her first assignment the day after registering as a model with commercial agency Models Direct. She worked on a photographic assignment with a Warwickshire student.

The student at Warickshire College turned to Models Direct when she needed to complete a fashion photoshoot as part of a course project. She was looking for an inexperienced female model aged 18-19 who was a size 10 with brown hair to take part. Georgina spent the afternoon modelling clothes and accessories that were provided by the student.

It’s quite common for Models Direct to work with students who are still learning their trade, whether photography, designing or hair and make up. In these circumstances models often receive a only small fee or work, but get professional photographs from the shoot to use in their portfolios.

This was the case for Georgina’s assignment but it didn’t seem to bother her! Models Direct often receive feedback from models who are more satisfied with the modelling experience and the end results than the payment. New models especially are grateful for the experience and knowledge it gives them for future assignments.

Georgina provided Models Direct with some feedback on the assignment and was obviously really pleased with how the assignment went.

“I was excited and a bit nervous before it but I am happy with how it went and really enjoyed it,” Georgina commented. “I felt pleased to be doing it and felt like a confident young lady.”

It was obviously a dream come true. “I had a really good time, I got to do what I have wanted for ages. Things can only get better!”
