TAUS, the translation innovation think tank and interoperability watchdog, announces the winner of an Excellence Award for the most inspiring, effective and compelling presentation given at the TAUS Asia Translation Summit, 24-25 April 2012.
A case study from Chris Wendt (Microsoft) entitled “Collaborative Machine Translation: Your Community and Microsoft’s Knowledge working together” was chosen from among twenty presentations by the authoritative Program Committee assembled for the event.
The implementation of Microsoft’s Collaborative Translation Framework, which combines collaborative translation with customized machine translation, was felt to be paving the way for others to follow.
