Major winter storm takes aim at the Plains and Midwest for Tuesday through Thursday advises the Swinden Group
Western States to the Great Lakes – Major Winter Storm / Blizzard: Another major Pacific winter storm is brewing and looks to have a similar track and impact that the winter storm / blizzard earlier this month had on the Plains and the Midwest. The storm is expected to move out Nevada and into southwestern U.S. by Monday night and then into the Plains and Midwest Tuesday night and Wednesday and into Christmas Eve. Expect heavy snow of 1 to 2 feet for portions of Utah, New Mexico, and Colorado. Once i the Plains, expect heavy rains for the southern aspect o the storm with heavy snow and blizzard conditions for eastern Colorado and Wyoming Kansas and Nebraska eastward into Iowa.
