Chantilly, VA—With the expiration date of November 30, 2009 quickly approaching, time is running out for first-time homebuyers who want to take advantage of the government issued $8,000 tax credit.

Because homes must close on or before November 30, 2009, it is very important that buyers act quickly, says Brenda Sharp, director of sales and marketing for Lennar’s Virginia Division.

“Now is the time to get off the fence and into a new home,” Sharp said. “ The opportunity for a tax credit this significant may never happen again.”

To make it easier for a first-time homebuyer to close on their home on or before the November 30 deadline, Lennar is offering several homes in communities throughout Virginia that are available for immediate occupancy. Participating communities include: Melody Landing At River Oaks in Woodbridge, Lee’s Parke in Fredericksburg and Groveton Woods in Alexandria.

Melody Landing At River Oaks is Lennar’s premier townhome-style condominium community in Woodbridge. Available homes offer two or three bedrooms and luxury upgrades including hardwood floors, a gourmet kitchen with granite countertops and a stainless steel appliance package. Homes are priced from the mid $200,000s on immediate deliveries.
