New York City Metro: Climate Mama LLC, a new online eduction, advocacy and information website, helps busy parents of all ages “do the right thing” and make the right choices, when it comes to climate change and global warming. Climate Mama presents the facts on climate change in a clear and straight forward format. Climate Mama makes understanding what is happening in both Copenhagen and the US Senate on Climate Change, clear and relevant. Climate Mama explains WHY it matters to busy parents – empowering and enabling them to make the right choices for themselves and for their families.

“As a parent, I was constantly searching for a reliable and trusted source of information that offered up-to-date information on the politics, the science and the resources behind the issues; a place where I could go to quickly and easily find what I was looking for, for myself and for my family. I couldn’t find this place, so I created it.” said Harriet Shugarman, Founder of Climate Mama.

ABOUT CLIMATE MAMA FOUNDER HARRIET SHUGARMAN:
Climate Mama Executive Director and Founder, Harriet Shugarman, has worked on environmental issues for many years. As a representative of the International Monetary Fund at the United Nations, Harriet worked on the first UN Earth Summit in 1992 and on many subsequent environmental and sustainable development global conferences and committees.
