Kerry Katona Voted the Worst Celebrity Mum
A public vote has found that Kerry Katona, filmed allegedly snorting cocaine last year, is the worst celebrity mum, closely followed by Katie Price, who has recently countered claims that she was a bad mother after child Princess Tiaamii was photographed wearing make-up with her hair straightened.
Troubled ex-Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona has been named the worst celebrity mum, having topped a poll of 1,632 respondents.
The study, commissioned by the UK’s leading discount voucher code website www.MyVoucherCodes.co.uk set out to find the worst mums in the media spotlight according to the public, with Kerry Katona taking the title, with a quarter of all votes.
Katie Price, who has in the past been named Mum of the Year, came out second in the poll, following media reports that she had applied make-up to her two year old daughter, Princess Tiaamii, a fact that allegedly angered ex-husband Peter Andre.
Supermodel Kate Moss polled third in the survey with 14% of votes, whilst singer Britney Spears, who once lost custody of her children to husband Kevin Federline and was pictured driving whilst holding her child also found her way into the top ten, in at number four.
Katie Holmes, wife of Tom Cruise, has also been in the media for allowing daughter Suri to wear high heels and makeup and came in 5th place.
Dina Lohan, mother of actress Lindsay Lohan was named the seventh worst celebrity mum, whilst Angelina Jolie and Madonna, famed for adopting children from other countries, also made the list.
Whitney Houston, who has had a well documented battle with drug abuse, came in at number ten.
Here is the top ten list of worst celebrity mums, according to the poll, alongside the percentage of votes each celebrity received:

Mark Pearson, founder of MyVoucherCodes.co.uk had the following to say,
“Mother’s Day is a time to celebrate the difference our mums make to our lives – but we wanted to do something a little different, and take a look at the celebrities who could probably do with a visit from Supernanny – for themselves.
“Whether it’s putting make-up on your two year old like Katie Price or allegedly taking money from your celebrity offspring, if you’re in the public eye, everything you do as a parent will be scrutinised.”
