Jesibags has now launched online – get the exclusive, handmade handbags from anywhere in the UK.

Jesi started making pieces from cast-off fabrics a decade ago, and even sold some several pieces to the famed Leeds style den, Blue Rinse. Since then, she has studied fashion, travelled the world, and started her new line of handbags made with chintzy prints and antique names. The Autumn Winter 09 collection is now available.

For those who like to buy in person, Jesi will be hosting a small shop at “The Stalls” Arts & Crafts Fair in Leeds this Saturday:

(opposite the train station and next door to BHS)
Time: 10am – 4pm
Entry: £1 (your contribution will go directly toward the venue hire)
Free entry from 10am – 10.30am

If you can’t make it to the North of England this weekend, you can also purchase the bags online at Folksy.com – a website set up by two friends in a Yorkshire Mill Town with the aim of bringing together handmade designs from around the UK.
