New Jersey, United States, December 9, 2011 – In time for the holiday season, indie pop-artist Wistful Sound Gazers’ Christmas single “Lite Up The Tree’ is currently available as a free download via social websites Facebook and YouTube.
The compilation “Tweet Download” is located on the Wistful Sound Gazers Facebook music page, powered by Vibedeck.com until December 23, 2011. Visitors can listen to full length previews and receive a code for a free three-track mp3 compilation download by using their Twitter account. A link can also be accessed via an audio-video version of “Lite Up The Tree (Soundtrack)” on YouTube.
“Lite Up The Tree” is a sweeping original song, paying homage to lavish musical arrangements of decades past while staying rooted in the present with subtle hip-hop nuances by Wistful Sound Gazers, aka singer/songwriter Ron Christopher, who produced the single given four stars on Amazon Cloud.
Christopher imbues “Lite Up The Tree” with a festive melody and well intentioned lyrics beckoning the spirit of the season, characteristics present in many meaningful and classic Christmas songs. “I think this song emphasizes the simplest of gifts many of us wish for during the holidays,” says Ron. “Beyond all the presents, Christmas lights and decorating, this time of year stirs the longing to be together with those held dear.”
“Lite Up The Tree” is the follow up to Wistful Sound Gazers 2008 single “Crimson & Clover.”
Distributed by The Orchard on Christopher’s City Avenue Records label, the music of Wistful Sound Gazers has been an internet presence for over a decade. The song “Push” from Christopher’s debut “Bliss” first introduced the U.S. independent musician. Garnering favorable reviews and attention during the early days of digital music surge, in 2001 the song ultimately earned nearly a million streams as part of MP3.com’s TruSonic Music. This year saw the release of the single “Gonna Get To You” as Ron continues producing and working on his next project.
