Guerra Creativa is a new on-line design community platform for creatives where companies can ‘crowdsource’ creative work. The designers can make a profile, build a reputation, make friends, and win cash prizes for their designs. Participants from around the world compete in logo, website, stationary and illustration contests for international companies.
The platform was launched during the celebration of Connaxis’ second year anniversary. The Managing Director of Connaxis, Peter van Grinsven, says the following about the companies’ latest initiative: “Thousands of companies are started every day. In the past these companies, whilst considering a logo or web design, ran the risk of limited choice, bad design, high price or provider lock-in which made the whole process problematic. Now, with Guerra Creativa, everyone has access to affordable design and choice. You name your price, watch designers compete for your work and finally you choose the best design. Guerra Creativa is the first platform of its kind that is specifically aimed at South American designers. International clients now have access to the special talents that set creative professionals from our continent apart from their colleagues overseas. Connaxis is also proud to announce that the very well known and respected Argentine graphic designer Alberto ‘Kaiser’ Sosa has agreed to actively participate in this initiative. Alberto will be a driving presence on the platform including teaching online classes.
