Goddard’s on the move – Pie and mash expansion plans for 2010
One of the oldest Pie and Mash businesses in the UK has today secured new premises as part of an expansion plan for 2010.
Goddard’s Pies Limited started trading in 1890 and is still going strong today with Jeff and Kane Goddard at the helm. The brothers have secured a lease on new premises near Sevenoaks, Kent which will enable them to expand their pie and mash business during 2010.
Goddard’s Pies traded for over 50 years in the very heart of Greenwich until 2006. A family business through and through Jeff tells us of his plans. “We need to move with the times and the extra capacity that the new premises provides will enable us to do bigger and better things.”
“We have had lots of requests for home delivery and outside catering since we sold the shop. Now is the time to expand to the next level, pie and mash is still as popular as ever and we will be serving the same top quality pie and mash that we are so well known for”.
Goddard’s Pies will offer a pie and mash home delivery service alongside an outside catering division that will service pie and mash at your party, wedding or office function. They can cater for any number of guests and offer menu options which can include jellied or stewed eels if that takes your fancy.
