Direct Traveller the UK’s leading tour operator to North Cyprus, launches the second season of British National Television Advertising.

The advertising campaign from is running from the 16^th January 2012 – 8^th February 2012.

The campaign, which is the first of its kind from any North Cyprus specialist, features footage of north Cyprus and outlines Direct Traveller summer early booking sale.

North Cyprus is now being promoted on favourite mainstream UK terrestrial and digital television channels such as ITV, ITV 2, Channel 4 and Sky Channels.

The Direct Traveller advertisement showcases images of the Venetian Kyrenia harbour, Karpaz beach and Bellapais Abbey alongside images that portray relaxation and hospitality to the masses. It is aimed at inspiring more interest to the destination and showing off its appeal as an alternative destination for the British public to consider.

The overall campaign is supported by a continuous national newspaper advertising campaign.

The main aim of the campaign is to increase brand awareness of Direct Traveller and to educate people that North Cyprus is definitely a holiday destination they should consider.  A Euro-free holiday destination dubbed as the best of the Mediterranean as it was decades ago, North Cyprus is the Med’s best kept secret. Loved for its slow pace of life and welcoming hospitality, it combines beautiful bays and enchanting sights with a sunny climate all year round.
