The Dingle Marathon has partnered with online entries and race promotions website, Race-Calendar.Com, to provide entries to the County Kerry race in both Euros and Sterling. Runners from both sides of the border and from all over Europe can now take part using a simple online entry checkout.
Co Kerry, Ireland – 22nd June 2012 (Your-Story.org) The breathtaking and idyllic course of the Dingle Marathon on the Atlantic coast of Ireland is now at the fingertips of runners all over Europe thanks to a partnership between the race organisers and Race-Calendar.com.
Entries for the Dingle Marathon are now open in both Euros and Sterling, giving runners in the UK & the Eurozone a chance to see the stunning Blasket Islands and run the seaside route around the Dingle peninsula. Entry to the races includes chip timing, pasta party, entertainment, bus journey, technical running shirt, medal, goody bag, BBQ and even entrance to a night club!
The Dingle Marathon will take place on 1st September 2012. Sponsored by local newspaper, The Kerryman, the event will reward winners with pieces of Dingle Crystal. Three different distances are open to competitors; half marathon, marathon & ultra (50 miles).
Spectators are being invited to watch – details of the race route can be found on the Dingle Marathon website. The people of Dingle have already been thanked by organisers for their help & support in hosting this event, which is expected to bring up to 3000 athletes to the area.
