Marbella, Malaga ( your-story.org ) November 23, 2011 – For the sixth consecutive year, the family owned Marbella Italian Restaurants ( http://www.dabruno.com/en/index.php ) Group, Da Bruno, has been awarded a prize at the Marbella Awards.
At the magnificent Awards Gala evening, held on 19th November 2011, it was revealed that Da Bruno Restaurants had won the award of Best Italian Restaurant, at the Marbella Awards. These prestigious awards are organised by Essential Magazine, this year in association with Jyske Bank Gibraltar. All proceeds from the Awards Gala Evening go to the official benefitting charities.
The official charities who will benefit from some of the funds raised are Cesare Scariolo Trust and Fundaspandem. Cesare Scariolo is a private non-profit organisation whose main objective is to help children who suffer from cancer, and their families. The charity gives both direct aid as well as providing social and psychological help for their families.
Fundaspandem is a charity which helps people with disabilities. It helps care for them, encourage learning and independence, finding workplaces, integrating people into society and offering legal aid and guardianship.
The Essential Magazine Marbella Awards was the brainchild of the magazine’s Creative Director, back in 2006. Business people and members of the Marbella community have been encouraged during these years to partake by voting for their favourite businesses across a range of lifestyle categories. This means that the awards are in the hands of the community which these businesses serve, making it a great honour, to win an award.
The awards have been endorsed by the Marbella Town Hall and an impressive media campaign supports the voting, award ceremony and benefitting charities. The Associated Partner for the sixth year of the Marbella Awards, in 2011, is Jyske Bank Private Banking, which is known for operating a highly evolved platform which specialises in private banking and wealth management.
The Awards Gala Ceremony was hosted by Shivani Mair and Muggie Fischer. The glittering evening at the Puente Romano Hotel, was attended by the cream of Marbella’s business world and society. Those who attended were treated to some of the best entertainers, a delicious dinner and drinks.
This year singing sensation Yanela Brooks enthralled guests, and dazzling performances were given by Julie Ann Hunter (Mezzo Soprano), Quike Navarro (Violin Maestro) and Monkey Tennis (Jazz Masters).
Da Bruno Marbella Restaurants were delighted and honoured to win for the sixth consecutive year, and also to congratulate the winners of the other categories.
