Rave reviews are pouring in. One from Sue Jewel, a retired teacher at Wayzata High School. MN, and an active grandmother says, “… I’ve spent a great deal of time finding books, poetry, and music to fire the imaginations of my four grandchildren. It has, of course, been a labor of love… Happening upon ‘Cranberry Red Balloon’ last fall was an experience that has added both quality and pleasure to the time I share with Andrew, Elanor, Rob, and Louisa, and I highly recommend this delightful music to parents, grandparents, and educators. Unlike many albums of music for children, “Cranberry Red Balloon” is also music I never tire of myself; my favorite song changes depending on my mood, but every song is a winner and I play the album often in my car and at home. Don’t miss this one!”
Educator Lisa Ramsey, Republic, WA says, “As an educator I look for music that inspires the children and young adults I teach. Music that inspires them to filter the negative in life and realize their inner strength and beauty. That it is ok to laugh and play and dance and dream. That their very existence is a gift to us all. That they are a human being that is wanted and loved. Cranberry Red Balloon inspires all children no matter what circumstance to dream. It inspires intellect creativity, humor, and hope! But most importantly love.”
The 11 songs on the CD have also been described as: family songs, uplifting songs, meaningful songs, songs that make you happy, songs with meaningful lyrics and calming music.
