May 15^th witnessed the successful completion of the 13^th China Telecom – Harbourview Cup Golf Tournament. Despite the rain during this event, spirits were not dampened as more than 180 participants joined in the game and took on the challenging weather. The tournament also received a number of Xiamen golf associations’ enthusiastic participation and support, including the Xiamen HK Golf Team, Xiamen Quanjia Golf Team, Xiamen Golf Society (XGS), and Xiamen Expatriates Club (AXE). Through the comfortable and pleasant environment, this event has become an exhibit for Xiamen’s leisure travel so that more people may understand and participate in golf, winning many international and local high-end business people’s interest and favor.

In the evening, the grand awards banquet was held at Millennium Harbourview Hotel Xiamen where the total of CNY20,000 raised during this event was donated to the Xiamen Red Cross. The generous donation will go to the medical aid of Xiamen’s poor children. Over the past 13 years, to carry on the spirit of social welfare, China Telecom and the Millennium Harbourview Hotel have made annual donations to various charitable causes.
