Christmas Photo Competition – Win £100 Voucher for Totally Funky
The Christmas-themed website Christmas.vg today launched a Christmas photo competition aimed at showcasing the very best of festive photography. The organisers are offering a prize of a £100 gift voucher for use at the online trinkets and gifts shop, Totally Funky.
Every year, photographers and amateur artists take to the outdoors to capture city Christmas lights and frosted countryside. One of the website’s owners, Linda Haywood said: “This is a great opportunity to show off extra skills such as night shots of lights and close ups of ice. There is a wealth of subject matter for Christmas images from the traditional pheasants and pine trees through to dry desert Christmasses in places like Australia. It will be really interesting to see what people come up with”
Totally Funky donated the prize of a £100 voucher for their online store. The lucky winner will have the opportunity to order anything from Marmite design mugs to remote controlled cars for free.
Those who wish to enter the competition simply have to fill in a form and upload a digital image on the Christmas.vg website. The winner will be announced on 27th December 2009.
Christmas.vg has been running since September 2008 and got over 50,000 views per day in the last weeks before Christmas. The site lists Christmas events in towns across the UK and USA, produces Christmas TV guides, hosts Christmas themed online games and publishes gift lists to help consumers choose presents for members of family and friends.
