Chris Moorman of DoylesRoom’s Brunson 10 Final Tables another Sunday Million
Las Vegas, Nevada – December 21, 2009 – Chris Moorman knows what it’s like to find himself among the best. The top-ranked poker pro who currently sits on Doyle Brunson’s team of elite poker players finished strong in this past weekend’s Sunday Million, grabbing hold of another top final table performance worth bragging about.
After ten hours of what can only be described as grueling online poker play, 9 players sat down to decide the final table of the million-dollar poker tournament. With 17,113,695 in chips, Chris Moorman held the top position until a few double-up opportunities saw other online poker players take control.
In an attempt to reclaim his chip lead, Moorman pushed all in with Qs Js, losing the hand to hassan77’s As 7c, which held up to give hassan77 two pair. Moorman left the tournament in 8th place, earning $18,788 for his solid performance.
Chris Moorman joined The Brunson 10 in mid-September as the fourth member of Doyle Brunson’s team of elite pros. Moorman’s over $4 million in lifetime winnings include nine career titles and 145 cashes, made up of online poker successes and a number of land-based poker achievements.
The Brunson 10 originally launched with three members – Alec Torelli, Amit Makhija and Zachary Clark – all of whom began their poker careers online and achieved enormous success at live card rooms as well. Shortly after Chris Moorman joined the team, Dani Stern was recruited as the fifth member.
