Brian “The Rockin’ Fisherman” Schram to Play at The Bassmaster Classic

(Bossier City, LA) – Goomba Music recording artist and professional bass fisherman Brian Schram will be performing an acoustic set of music at The 2012 Bassmaster Classic tournament in Shreveport-Bossier City, La. His performance will be on Sunday, February 26th, just prior to the final weigh-in at the CenturyLink Center in Bossier City. Brian will be playing to an expected crowd of 9,000 attendees.

In 2009, Brian Schram toured on the coveted “Crue Fest 2″ tour playing on the Monster Energy Stage.

He got his chance at stardom playing with the Top Dog/Atlantic Recording Artist Uncle Kracker. He performed with them on Jay Leno, MTV’s Carson Daly, Regis and Kelly and more.

During his four song set Brian will play songs from his Rockin’ Fish Tales albums, which blend a country-rock musical style around a fishing theme. In addition, Brian will perform his heart felt rendition of Ozzy Osbourne’s “Mama, I’m Comin’ Home”, which is dedicated to members of the United States Armed Forces returning from active duty.

The Bassmaster Classic is the Superbowl of professional fishing, bringing together the world’s best bass fishermen to compete on Northwest Louisiana’s Red River. The event includes the Bassmaster Classic Expo Presented by Dick’s Sporting Goods, a free consumer expo at the Shreveport Convention Center, as well as the weigh-in show at the CenturyLink Center, which is also free to attend.

“Wow, what a thrill this is going to be” stated Schram. “To be selected to perform at this event, in front of all of those people is an honor”.

Brian has just wrapped up recording his latest full length album, “Rockin’ Fish Tales 3 (Back in Bass) which will hit stores this spring.
