BOOKIES BET GRIMES WILL SAIL THROUGH TO NEXT WEEK
It looks like not even wild horses will stop Dublin twins John and Edward Grimes performing on this week’s X Factor.
Despite a swine flu scare Bookies Paddy Power are betting the show will go on for the terrible twosome and are betting 1/10 that they’ll be fit and healthy enough to perform the Queen hit ‘We will Rock You’ on Saturday night.
And if that wasn’t enough to send Simon Cowell over the edge John and Edward, aka Jedward are also being hotly tipped at 2/5 to sail through to the next round.
Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for Paddy Power said: “We’re not worried about the boys at all this week. Louis has given them a fantastic song that will suit them right down to the ground and they will sail through to the next week. Grimes fans should snap up the 12/1 on offer for the lads to win because come Monday that price will have shortened a lot!”
Paddy Power are quoting 12/1 that the Grimes twins will win this year’s X Factor while it’s 4/1 they reach the semi-final and 6/1 they reach the final but fail to win. If the Lucan lads do pull off a shock victory Paddy Power will fork out an estimated €200,000+ to X Factor punters.
