Blanket America announces the Patchwork Heritage quilt will be released earlier than expected. The Patchwork Heritage quilt will also be raffled off soon!

The Blanket America project is one which is set to help one million of our countries poorest this year. By joining hearts and minds, Blanket America is rising to the call of action, just as our country needs it most.

The Patchwork Heritage quilt, created by Blanket America is going to do a buy one, give one year long charity event. Originally set to launch mid-January, the Patchwork Heritage collection will now go on sale December 23! The collection has been available for pre-order on Amazon.com for about a month. Orders will presumably be received on a first come, first serve basis.

Many have been inquiring about how they can acquire the Patchwork Heritage Collection earlier than the release date. So far, the only answer is that one king sized Patchwork Heritage Quilt will be raffled off within the next two weeks. Blanket USA is hosting the event and proceeds will go to help the project.

The Patchwork Heritage quilt was inspired by President Barak Obama’s inspirational presidential inaugural address, where he stated that America’s patchwork heritage is our strength and not a weakness. When we are all united as one, we can change America for the better. There has not been a time in recent history where our country has needed its citizens to rise up to the call of action. America’s unity is what has brought our ancestors through this country’s darkest hours.

The Patchwork Heritage Quilt is printed with this inspirational speech on its back, the lady liberty standing proudly erect in the background. On the face of the quilt, well coordinated and non-abrasive shades of red, white and blue in 13 different fabrics are united together to represent our 13 original colonies.

The Patchwork Heritage Collection includes decorative pillows and pillow shams. The decorative pillows proudly boast that our patchwork heritage is a strength and not a weakness. These pillows and shams match both the front and back of the quilt to perfection. Whether the quilt is hung on the wall as a tapestry, thrown on the couch as a throw, or laid on the bed as a comforter, these pillows and shams will set this heirloom quilt off to perfection.
