Lucky local lady wins £135,000 on third visit to Gala Bingo club

Monday, August 23 was a special day at Gala Bingo in Hereford when a lucky local scooped a fantastic £135,000 on only her third outing to the club.

The lucky lady, who has chosen to remain anonymous, was playing bingo with her mum and grandmother when she won the full house prize of £10,000 – and was even more shocked to find she’d also hit the High 5 jackpot, taking her total winnings to £135,000.

As if that wasn’t enough, the luck in Hereford didn’t stop there. Because of the groundbreaking nature of the High 5 game, half of the overall jackpot – £125,000 is shared between every player in the club at the time of the win, meaning the 77 players won a share of the remaining £125,000 jackpot, meaning each player took away over £1,623 each!

The ecstatic young winner, who plans to share her winnings with her family, said: “I am in complete shock. It was a fantastic surprise, I can’t wait to treat my family and buy myself a new car! It was only my third time at Gala Bingo Hereford and I can definitely say it won’t be my last – I love it!”
