Modelling isn’t just for teens and twenty-somethings, you can become a model at any age with commercial agencies such as Models Direct. The top European agency will take on models who go on to work with advertisers, stylists, photographers and designers, no matter what age they are. It is the varied selection that makes Models Direct such a popular agency.

Baby models. Baby models are used to advertise the scores of baby products, whether it’s in catalogues or TV commercials. Models Direct have even found models for BBC, starring in Mistresses and for an Eastenders magazine photoshoot. Child models. Models Direct classes boys and girls between 2 and 12 as child models. In the UK, anyone under the age of eighteen requires a licence from local councils to model and must have consent from a parent or guardian who also attends any assignments.

Teen models. Teen models are young people aged between 13 and 18. Teenagers could be modelling clothes in a catwalk or catalogue or helping to launch a new product. Adult models. Male and female models are needed for catalogues, face to face promotions, film and television and photographic work to name just a few examples. Mature models. More and more advertisers are looking for older models to promote products and services as they look for someone who reflects their audience or market group. You don’t need any previous experience, you just need to be full of life, have a character which shines through on camera and be fit and healthy.
