Arizona Food Allergy Alliance Splashpad & Fun in the Sun Play Dates

(ARIZONA)

Arizona Food Allergy Alliance is hosting several Splashpad & Fun in the Sun Play Dates across the State. Play dates are hosted by leaders in the food allergy community. "Our play dates are multi-beneficial in that they allow parents of children with food allergies to get together and chat about raising a child that is allergic or anaphylactic. They can talk connect and relate with one another on the difficulties, but also share positive experiences. It also allows children to connect with other's that are just like them, and enjoy being a kid with others that understand what it's like to live with a life-threatening food allergy," Lisa Horne, President & Founder of Arizona Food Allergy Alliance.

Play dates are in the following locations on Saturday, August 27th, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. More information can be found on Arizona Food Allergy Alliance's website, Google: Arizona Food Allergy Alliance. Check the website for host's contact information via Facebook and Email, to chat about meeting-up on the day of the play date.

ABOUT ARIZONA FOOD ALLERGY ALLIANCE:

The Arizona Food Allergy Alliance is a support group dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by food allergy in the State of Arizona. We sustain the common interests of members through education, support, and advocacy. It is our goal to bring awareness, understanding, and safety within families and communities by providing educational resources, personal networking experiences, and opportunities for community involvement. Thus, we hope that every person that visits will connect, learn and succeed.

Connect – Network with other's in the food allergy community through our many communication forums, and other programs.
Learn – Educate yourself and those around you about food allergies and anaphylaxis. Increasing your own knowledge is the first step to bringing awareness and "buy-in" with those around you (school, work, church, play, etc).
Succeed – With the resources that Arizona Food Allergy Alliance and our partners offer, YOU will be successful in not only living with food allergies, but creating a safe confident environment coupled with understanding and awareness. Together we can connect, learn and succeed!
