Arctic Monkeys UK Tour Tickets Sell Out!
The Arctic Monkeys UK Tour, which begins in Liverpool on Friday 13th November and ends at Belfast’s Odyssey Arena on 25th November 2009, has officially sold out of tickets at all but two venues by 5pm today, despite tickets having only been on sale for eight hours.
The tour, which also sees the Arctic Monkeys play gigs in Sheffield (14/11/09), Newcastle (16/11/09), London (17 and 18/11/09), Birmingham (20/11/09), Manchester (21/11/09), Nottingham (22/11/09) and Glasgow (24/11/09), is the first time the band have toured the UK since December 2007.
Online event listings website, IKnowWhereItsAt.com, which this morning reported that the interest in Arctic Monkeys tickets had been the “busiest morning since (their) site launch” have now altered their listings n each date to reflect that tickets are now only available through reseller websites, their spoklesman reports
“It is a shame for Arctic Monkey fans, but it looks likely that people who want tickets to see them play this Autumn will have to fork out probably around double the face value now most venues have sold out. However, last time we looked, there were still some tickets for the Newcastle and Belfast shows available, so maybe it is worth spending a little on travel instead!
Of the ticket exchanges, we recommend Viagogo and Seatwave as the most trusted sources.”
