ANCIENT ICONOGRAPHY FANATICS FORM CULT IN QUEST OF “COOL”
The increasing amount of people wearing ancient iconographic etchings on soft, tailored, white cotton shirts around the world is becoming alarming. Approaching 2012, this would seem to be indicative of a new cult phenomenon.
Having traced the reason behind the growing cult to their Leader, a surprisingly young, charming man with wise chocolate eyes (who prefers to remain unnamed for obvious reasons), he explained the sect’s dogma. There is a seemingly apparent pattern, which was revealed to him during the course of his many travels, which is concealed within each of the ancient drawings. It is “the key to cool”.
Wanting to share this breakthrough discovery with fellow hipsters across the globe, the guru of style formed Ivory Skies to make sense of the intangible and invaluable “it factor” and share it with those able to recognize it.
The master plans to continue collecting ancient relics “cool” from around the world, with the ultimate goal of finding the essence of the trend.
It is predicted that the frequency of gatherings will increase exponentially starting in London’s trendiest markets, both east and west and spread across borders and transatlantically to the scenes in Paris, Berlin and New York. The venues in which to catch sight of one of these trend spotters and trend setters, is sure to vary between indie clubs to art gallery openings.
Those wanting to enroll are encouraged to visit the collective’s site at www.ivoryskies.net to get further information on the group and it’s new discoveries. New etchings have already been discovered though scheduled release dates are still in the pipeline.
Weather the master will succeed in distilling the essence of cool remains to be seen, but one of the great mysteries of the twentieth century seems to be on the brink of being unveiled. Joining Ivory Skies to get some answers is the next step for those wanting to remain, ironically, “up-to-date”.
