June 26th 2012 – Leading global resourcing and talent management provider Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS) has announced the appointment of employer branding expert Jody Robie as their new Head of Resourcing Communications for North America.
“We are delighted that Jody has joined AMS,” commented Martin Cerullo, Global Director of AMS’ Employer Branding business. “Jody will help clients from all sectors recruit and retain top talent, by drawing upon her extensive employer brand and talent communications experience and strategic expertise in areas such as diversity. She will be working closely with leading US employers on their employer branding strategies, including ensuring they benefit from AMS’s global coverage and presence in strategic markets including China.”
Immediately prior to joining AMS, Jody was Vice President, National Sales Manager, for Buyer Advertising – one of the largest independent recruitment marketing communications firms in the US. Jody helped expand Buyer’s national and international footprints by creating partnerships with businesses operating in a diverse range of sectors – from Healthcare and Bio/Pharma to High Tech and Retail.
“Having the opportunity to partner with organizations across North America on the changing and evolving world of employment marketing is exciting,” commented Jody Robie, who is based at AMS’ offices in Boston, Massachusetts. “Another key focus will be developing customized Diversity & Inclusion strategies – helping employers gain greater competitive advantage through attracting and retaining a diverse workforce.”
A Boston University and Harvard University graduate, Jody has also worked in the broadcast television industry for the Hearst-owned ABC affiliate WCVB-TV, and for News Corporation’s Fox affiliate WFXT. She was the 2002 Hearst-Argyle Television Eagle Award winner and won a local (Boston) “Emmy” in 1994 for her producing work on “Adler On Line” – a locally-produced news program.
