For Immediate Release October 25, 2009 – Akadema has always provided, whether it be their consumer’s or professional athletes, with the top of the line equipment and apparel. MLB All-Star’s Manny Ramirez and Shane Victorino have recognized Akadema’s ability to produce high quality products day and day out. With their battle over in the National League Championship Series, we take a look at these high caliber athletes and what gives them the edge over everybody else in the MLB: Akadema.

Manny Ramirez has been an Akadema Endorser for almost 5 seasons , with his custom colored AMR34 he has been able to use his unique style of finesse defense to assert himself as a permanent left fielder. Being with the Los Angeles Dodgers for his second season he hasn’t made more than 4 errors in an entire season and has made ESPN’s Top Ten Plays numerous times for flashing the Akadema leather. Manny holds the record for the most homeruns in the post-season and with his stellar defense it makes him a force to be reckoned with in the playoffs.

Shane Victorino, also know as the Flyin Hawaiian. The Philadelphia Phillies Centerfielder is not only a MLB All-Star but is also a Gold Glove award winner. Victorino has used the same stock AMR34 glove, black and silver, for over 2 years now and has stepped up his game ever since putting on the Akadema glove. In 2008, when Shane won his first glove he made only 2 errors and this year he decided to get a little better by playing in 149 games making only 1 error. He was also a big problem for the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2009 NLCS game batting .368.

With these two Akadema endorsers battling out to be the best in the National League it shows how Akadema only is used by the best athletes. Even though Shane was able to edge out Manny in the playoffs, their ability to play at a higher level makes them both winners in Akadema’s eyes.
