- 10 ways to Chill Out

Feeling stressed? Look no further!

Here are some top from the Zen Master himself. If you’re keen to get serene read on.

1. – Rigorous is not only enjoyable, but releases endorphins (natural “happy” chemicals) throughout your body.
After exercise, you will be nicely relaxed and feel a sense of satisfaction and calm.

2. Massage – A gentle massage with soothing oils can unwind even the most tightly wound person into a euphoric grinning human. Whether you go to a spa or get a friend or partner to gently assist you, massage is always a winner when trying to relax body and mind.

3. Comedy – is very good for you. People who laugh a lot tend to be more relaxed and have a much better outlook on life.

4. Thai Chi – Like many elements of Chinese martial arts, Thai Chi teaches the calming of the mind and the relaxation of the body. Gentle movements and lots of deep breathing – a great way to unwind.

5. + – Growing hugely in popularity recently are Yoga and classes – great for stretching and toning the body, gently exercising and meeting new people.

6. – Relaxing in a room that is dimly lit with a few flickering can set a sensual mood. For millennia mankind has felt a strong fascination for fire – let your mind wander…

7. A Nice Hot Bath – After all the exercise you’ve been doing, you deserve a bath!! A nice hot bath with some bath salts will relax your muscles and clear your pores of all toxins. Magic!

8. – A wonderful way to express yourself and get lost in your own creativity. Whether landscapes or portraits, the feel of the brush is a great calmer on body and mind.

9. Walk barefoot through a field – A liberating experience! Pick a beautiful sunny day and go wandering! Feel the sun on your face, the wind in your hair and the grass at your feet. Feel one with nature!

10. Music – Many of the above can be accompanied by music. The Zen Master recommends The Orchestra – some truly fantastic chill-out music!

I hope you enjoy your relaxation time more

Best,

The Zen Master
