The UK’s leading discount code and voucher site, www.MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, has reported a huge increase in the number of people searching for “sexy time” items on the site this Christmas.

The site which has seen its 9m unique users a month rise dramatically in the last few weeks, has said that there has been a 308% rise in the number of people looking for sex related items on the site.

The site hosts lots of items on various different things including those that can spice things up in the bedroom, from retailers such as Ann Summers, Passion8 and Electra Pole. Sexy items also topped a poll of the most wanted gifts for Christmas amongst adults.

The survey of 1,863 adults showed that 57% wanted to get something sexy for Christmas, of which, nearly 3 in 4 were women. Over half of the women who wanted a sexy gift said that it was a sex toy that topped the list, whilst 1 in 3 said that underwear was on their wish list. 19% of the women asked said that they wanted a pole!

Of the men who wanted something sexy, 1 in 3 wanted various sex goods whilst the rest wanted skimpy clothes for their girlfriends. Surprisingly slippers were one of the top ten items that over 18’s wanted for Christmas this year.

The top ten gifts as wanted by adults this year are:

8. Slippers

10. Experience days

Speaking of the poll results, managing director Mark Pearson had this to say;

“I am not surprised in the slightest that sex items have topped the poll of the most wanted things this Christmas. I think that people are starting to relax around the idea that sex toys and games are a more than acceptable gift, and are often well received.”

He continued;

“I was however a little surprised that slippers made it into the poll as they couldn’t be further away from the more fun related items. We have codes on the site for all of the items featured, including some excellent experience days with www.IntoTheBlue.co.uk.”
