Internationally Acclaimed has called on the media to move away from their position of “prophets of doom and gloom” towards becoming a medium that highlights “pictures of possibility.”

“In the clear absence of political leadership, we need the media to fill this vacuum with some hope, some inspiration for people in these challenging times,” argued Kelly.

“The media appear completely unaware that people’s minds operate similar to computers – garbage in, unfortunately garbage out! At the moment peoples minds are being fed with a diet of negativity and sensationalism; it is difficult for them to be positive,” added Kelly.

Kelly who will be addressing audiences in the Korea, Macau and Hong Kong over the next month also spoke of the need for the individual to take responsibility for their current situation.

“The blame game won’t extricate you from your current situation – choosing to take positive action will,” he added.

“One positive strategy to embrace today is to become the guardian to your mind and block out any unnecessary sources of negativity,” he recommends.

Kelly has just launched his new book “Basics before Buzz – managing in challenging times.” The book is a follow on to his best selling publications “How? When you don’t know how” and “Life- a trip towards Trust.” Over the past two decades, he has been recruited as a motivational keynote speaker for events in the Far and Middle East, Europe and The US.
